DATES AND TIMES: Saturday, July 12 (Noon to 10 PM) plus extra events on Friday night, Saturday morning, and Sunday morning!

LOCATION: The Hamilton Collegiate Center at Jamestown Community College located at 525 Falconer Street. See the directions below.

CONVENTION FEE: $17. Includes dinner on Saturday night. The fee is payable in advance or at the door.

FRIDAY NITE SNEAK PREVIEW: Featuring the first public showing of MARTIAL LAW 2123! Informal visit and rap sessions at the lounge at the Radisson Hotel (formely Holiday Inn) at 150 West Fourth Street in downtown Jamestown beginning anytime, but definitely by 7:00 PM. This is a popular tradition and a chance for people to meet informally prior to the planned festivities during the weekend. Tom always makes it a point to attend. You can order food and drink and talk about COTG, LOW, and maybe even nongame topics, but then again, why waste time on real-world subjects?

SATURDAY MORNING TOURNAMENT AT COMIC BOOK SHOP: Go to Chautauqua Comics at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning for special game tournaments prior to the start of GalactiCon!

From Jamestown Community College take Falconer to Lakeview and turn left on Lakeview. Go to 6th Street and turn right. Continue straight until 6th Street becomes Fairmount Avenue. Look for Chautauqua Comics on the right side at 214 Fairmount Avenue. The tournaments will take place from 10:00 to 11:30.

Chautauqua Comics features a great selection of comic books, games, action figures, and other great stuff!

SUNDAY BRUNCH BRAWL: This could be the start of a new tradition! Join a group of wild attendees at a special Sunday brunch at 11 a.m. at a restaurant to be announced, so keep watching. We'll talk CotG and LoW and whatever everyone wants to talk about. What a great way to wind down after a fun weekend!

The Friday Nite Sneak Preview and Sunday Brunch Brawl are great bookends for the incredible event called GalactiCon!

AUCTION: Several rare items will be available at the annual GWF auction. If game fans would like to sell GWF collectibles at the auction, be sure to contact Tom and your items might also be included.

CONVENTION PROGRAMS: Be sure to look for the complementary GalactiCon 2008 programs when you arrive in town at the Comfort Inn, Radisson Hotel, or Red Roof Inn. If you don't see a program, just ask at the front desk.  They will also be available at the Friday Night get together and at the convention.

BASIC DIRECTIONS: Jamestown is located in Chautauqua county in New York's southern tier approximately one hour from Buffalo. Take Route 86 (formerly Route 17) and exit at Jamestown. Take Route 60 (Main Street) south to Buffalo Street. Go left on Buffalo Street to Falconer Street. Turn left on Falconer Street and pass the Jamestown Jammers stadium. The Hamilton Collegiate Center is located at 525 Falconer Street (right behind center field at the ballpark). Turn left on James Street. Take the first left for the Hamilton Collegiate Center and free parking.
